2020 年初，世界關注台灣，關注人民的選擇，肯定台灣民主成就。
在武漢肺炎肆虐全球期間，世界更再次看見台灣，看見台灣的專業、效率與超前部署；看見人民的團結、韌性與友善無私。
蔡英文總統曾以「堅韌之島」稱呼台灣，由此概念衍生「人民偉大」、「民主光榮」、「世代共榮」和「世界同行」四大軸線發展典禮視覺。希望透過就職典禮，傳達小英總統將帶領台灣，邁向更好的未來，往一流國家的方向前進。
四大軸線轉化成四種元素如下：
「人民偉大」：藉由具象的耳朵，代表政府「傾聽」人民的聲音。
「民主光榮」：台灣最高峰「玉山」，象徵著國家重視民主的價值。

「世代共榮」：手拉手的「相挺」意象，表示跨世代的團結。
「世界同行」：「飄揚」的國旗，帶出台灣的自信，能與世界同行。
色彩計畫，以「自信綠」、「堅毅紫」、「無私青」與「傾聽粉」，為隆重的就職典禮，
添增活潑、熱情與亮點，帶出對未來的憧憬。

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the world has witnessed the professionalism and efficiency of Taiwan as well as the unity, tenacity and selflessness of its people. President Tsai Ing-wen has once called Taiwan “the island of resilience,” and stemming from it are the four main axes: people matter most, the glory of democracy, the co-prosperity among generations, and together with the world. At the inauguration ceremony, the key visual manifests president Tsai’s determination of leading Taiwan to a better future.
The visual elements of the four main axes are as follows:
People matter most: the concretized symbol of the ears means that the government listens to the people.
The glory of democracy: Jade Mountain (Yushan) represents the invaluable democracy.
The co-prosperity among generations: the imagery of holding hands symbolizes the intergenerational unity.
Together with the world: the billowing national flags emphasize Taiwan’s faith and international presence.
The color scheme consists of confident green, tough purple, selfless cyan, and listening pink, which adds liveliness and passion for the inauguration ceremony and brings out the aspiration for the future of Taiwan.
