This is also from the D&AD New Blood Brief. Penguin want to use this brief to heighten the reading experience for young people with Penguin. Based on my own research about the target audience (people who have similar age with me), I found that they like to listen to audible books before going to sleep rather than Ebooks and physical books. Although there are sleep timers in Audible and Apple Book, there is an annoying issue of the sleep timer which is that people may fall asleep before or after the timer ends. This issue will cause people to lose their place in the book. So the idea of the solution is to make a sleep timer that can stop the audiobook when 'Penguin Pause' finds the user has fallen asleep.
This service includes a hand band which can monitor users' sleeping status and a mobile app to stop audio, sell book and analyse sleep patterns.
