Giò Ponti - Mermaid room

In 1938 the architect Giò Ponti collaborated with Bernard Rudofsky to design a hotel on the island of Capri, Italy:
this project consisted of a series of separate house-rooms scattered in the San Michele wood, each with a different name.
However, the hotel was never built.

The aim of this project is to redesign the space of one of these rooms designed by Ponti by changing its interior furnishings, modernizing it maintaining the features of "Mediterranean living".
