This documentary titled "Washing Ashore" was filmed in various locations around Maui but the main focus of the film was Makamakaʻole. I had the opportunity to participate in a beach cleanup collecting marine debris from the shoreline. I conducted interviews with community experts, filmed b-roll on site, and edited the film to showcase the importance of reducing marine debris in our oceans.
