I was lead animator on this slot game based on Frank Miller's dark, violent and gritty comics. The challenge was designing a game around Frank Miller's striking visuals and effectively animating his work while keeping his style intact. 

Here are a selection of my symbol animations from the game. I had to scan in and then break apart the source material in several layers to achieve some of the animations that required more depth.

For the Free Spin round we settled on a halucinatory sequence from one of the books. Not only did it effectively seperate this part of the game from the rest but it gave us a rare chance to inject some colour into the strictly black and white world of Sin City.

 

 

I was lead animator and contributed several design elements to this incredibly ambitious slot game. The player chose a character at the start and then played through the game earning ability points and gaining new chapters of the chosen character's story.

The ability points are awarded during reel spins and after sucessfully completing one of the 16 bonus games. The more ability points the character achieves the higher the in-game multiplier.

I was creative lead on this football themed slot game. It featured multiple bonus games and a trophy league table that your selected team would climb as each bonus game was finished. The game combined 2D and 3D design and animation.

At the start of a game the player was prompted to choose a country's team to play the game as.

Each bonus game was introduced by a commentator who would guide you through the whole match until you reached a point where the bonus game was to be played. It was a very fitting and effective way to integrate bonus games into the main gameplay.
