For this remarkable notion of fashion mutation, I agreed to use my Bengal silk . It is a beautiful printed sari from Kolkata, India, the land of art and culture, popular for its rich heritage of silk textures.
I tried to use my skills from fashion studies on the beautiful sari. This has been draped into a dress using the same. However the twist in the fact that this sari is not cut from anywhere and converted into this dress by pinning, tucking and multiple draping tools.
So whenever required this draped dress can be opened from left side and little tucks and folds can be opened and can be again mutated to a a sari back. This makes it dually useful and styled.
This is my bit of being sustainable and contributing towards the cause.
