Inclusion Not Included

As a minority at a predominantly white university, there are many emotions I feel just by walking across campus. As a leader in the Hispanic community, I tried my best to get involved in less diversified clubs to try and understand “inclusion” as described by the university. More often than not, I still felt excluded and the token diversity member.
The design of this poster is to focus on how the university has won awards about their diversity and inclusion efforts although many of their minority students still feel  excluded on campus. The sticker is the most important aspect, focusing on how inclusion doesn’t just happen with diversity; that it should be seen as a warning to faculty and staff to understand many efforts need to be tried to create inclusion among all students rather than just diversity numbers.
