Annual Juried Student Art Show

At the beginning of the semester, my school's gallery, the Martin-Mullen Art Gallery, gave my class the opportunity to create a poster for our school's Annual Juried Art Show (my favorite being on the far right). I decided to create a sort of jest and analytical kind of character to represent how I've experienced art. I have been told that art isn't a real job by certain people or I have been discouraged from pursuing it, but I have gone against those people. I feel like this also would represent my fellow peers because we want to have fun, but can still be analytical. It's the two sides to art and graphic design that people don't think of. My project wasn't chosen for the show, but I still enjoy the outcome of the project. Also, the poster that was chosen is amazing! So if you've come this far please check out the poster and the work of my peers here. It will be available until August 31st, so don't miss out!
