Retrospective Exhibition Of Karl Lagerfeld
This is project is to design a poster and graphic elements of a retrospective exhibition of a person that inspired me on my design journey, Karl Lagerfeld is a person I really look up to and I respect his life achievements, work ethnic and personality.
The concept
The reason for choosing Frame as the theme is because, the death of Karl Lagerfeld is like drawing an end of an era, everything he created can be put into history. And Frame use as a mirror frame as well, which I try to use the type design to create a feelings of the frame reflecting his name, which is my focal point of the poster, “KARL LAGERFELD”
and this is also why I reverted the letter “E”.
App design
The app is to be interactive, including a 3D virtual tour, when audience press the camera button, a 3D version of the costume with explanation will pop out.
