A project to take photographs of Greenside Mine to inform the world of the hostel that is tucked away in this old valley which has a rich history to it. Client was happy with the photos, but to emphasis the remote location, it was felt that all signs of life should be omitted, including the youth hostel that sits in the foreground of the top image!
This image was taken with a Canon 450D and to prove you do not need to spend big money, the picture of Henning Solberg was taken with a Canon Ixus 50. With a bit of tweaking of the settings, I managed a satisfactory result
