Cover versions: James Bond books reimagined
The villains in the James Bond films never looked quite like the characters described in Ian Fleming’s novels: Telly Savalas and Donald Pleasence didn’t remotely resemble his vision of the coiffed Ernst Stavro Blofeld and he would hardly have recognised Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre in Casino Royale or Joseph Wiseman as Dr No (apparently he suggested Noel Coward for the part.)
