Maruia is a retreat between the mountains, right on the river's edge surrounded by abundant native tree forest. The retreat is a place for relaxation and rejuvenation — the ultimate escape. Offering accommodation, a restaurant, yoga/meditation classes and outdoor exploration. The name represents "shelter" which influenced the design of the logo, along with the alpine outlook.
