Logo & Symbol Design for Department at
Srishti Manipal Institute of Art Design & Technology
Initiated by scholar-in-residence, Dr Indira Choudhury, Centre for Public History was set up as a department within Srishti (now Srishti Manipal Institute), with a view to work on museums, archives and heritage management properties. CPH runs regular courses and workshops for students at Srishti as well as short duration courses in oral history for PhD students, postgraduates and professionals. The symbol/logo was designed to reflect oral history as the overarching mainstay of this endeavour. (Project year: 2011)
