York Mills Centre is a four-phase Leed Gold Certified commercial complex ideally located at the corner of Yonge Street and York Mills Road, YMC offers convenient and eco-friendly transportation options along with nearby amenities to improve tenant and visitor experiences.
As a creative designer at Colliers International I was thrilled to work on this project. While visiting the site with the clients and our team, I was able to shoot some pictures of the site which later helped me create a mood board for rebranding this complex.
The client required a clean and modern new look to attract new tenants and I enjoyed exploring various aspects of this project, but most importantly I loved the challenge of rebranding the space to attract modern businesses. The building had interesting curves and structures and it allows lots of light through its glass facade so I tried to play with the shape and used clean linear silhouettes and shapes to replicate the building and its different angles. After a few rounds of brainstorming I shortlisted three key elements and colour schemes to create mood boards.
