Shiba is a paper shredder that I decided to develop as a personal concept, bored to see only extremely industrial objects on the market or with an aesthetic not designed for the space where it will be inserted, but simple for the style of the brand or to follow those that are the guidelines for this object. Often within offices and cowoking, these objects look like real alien spacecrafts. Shiba was born from the idea of studying a product that maintained the efficiency and safety of a P4 type shredder but with an attention to the space where it will be positioned, making it capable of adapting and why not, making people stop to observe it. Since this is a personal concept, the mechanical components have been analyzed on the basis of general operation, however, I have kept realistic dimensions, capable of housing blades, motor and sensors. In an extremely digital age like this, perhaps having data on paper that can be finally destroyed, is the only way to keep it safe?
