The number of races held at the Saratoga Race Course has significantly increased over time, and the facility has hosted some of the world’s most famous racehorses on the track and in residence, including Secretariat and Man o’ War. The racecourse has also been used as a movie set, featuring in well-known films such as The Horse Whisperer and Sea Biscuit. Public walking tours are offered at the distinguished course, which is open to the public for approximately 2 months each year, starting in July and closing in September.
