As a skateboarder/longboarder and design engineer, I've always wanted to create fourniture using decks and 3D printed parts.
During the 2020 lockdown I finally had the time to do it and I designed simple bench legs that I can screw on any skate/longboard deck.
I used white PLA for the 3D printed parts, 25*25*320mm long wooden legs that I recycled from my new gas cooker packaging, and two decks unsuitable for use (one had mechanical tests performed on its structure and the other one is a prototype using new material, but it's too heavy and too flexible).
