To create these zoo icons, I combined a neon effect with a curvy stylized animal form. I wanted these icons to look as if they were neon signs which could then be placed at an actual zoo.

I started with lots of sketches and styles to figure out the types of animals that I would use for my icons. The flamingo, crocodile, and monkey had the most movement and character so I chose them to use in my icons.
