The old Sikiaridis Textile became home to the School of Fine Arts and for a while there, one could hope that the beautiful buildings would be spared. Unfortunately, this is not the case and they are now rotting again...

Abandoned and deserted, almost completely ruined... Still clinging to a glorious past via the remains of color and the nature that surrounds it. One cannot help but ask why this beautiful place was left to rot when it could still be the jewel of the crown that is Pozar Baths.
Urban Exploration Project - Abandoned Sulfur Mine, Milos - Greece
Rocks and rusting iron... A sulfur mine in Milos that has been abandoned. For some years, it had the upper hand on the environment. Since then and for all eternity, the environment is having the last laugh, consuming it day be day, reclaiming rocks and minerals, restoring the eternal order of things.
Urban Exploration Project - Villa Olga
Villa Olga or Tzemborga or Evelman or Salem or Italian Consulate. From 1878 to 1978, a century of life left its marks on the mansion, turning it into a ghost. It may have won the battle with its urban surroundings, having outlived most. A poem amidst crude letters and words it is now fighting a battle against nature which has started its reclamation campaign. Recently the mansion was bought / salvaged by an entrepreneur who will turn it into a boutique hotel. So, Villa Olga lives to fight another day...
