MODERN FEMINISM – ALO YOGA CONCEPT (SPRING 2019)
I designed this Spring 2019 collection dedicated to Alo Yoga because like many others out there, I’ve been a fan of its activewear for quite a while. Alo Yoga’s aesthetic is feminine, cutting edge and studio to street. It offers everything from leggings and tops to outerwears and seamless (warp knit) pieces. I came up with four concepts– Activeseam, Lightweight Outerwears, Seamless and patterns inspired by Iris Van Herpen and designed with Alo’s aesthetics in mind while adding a little bit of my own twist of functionality. Each of the styles is studio to street and designed with the main activity focus on yoga (also practical for other activities like training/gym, dancing, hiking and etc.).
