Challenge:
Banners. Everybody hates them, and hardly anybody clicks on them. Our brief was to target Sky TV customers online, and get them to switch to Virgin Media.
 
Solution:
We decided to focus on an everyday pain point Sky customers have - bad weather affecting their satellite dish signal. We created a simple banner that demonstrated the problem, and offered a clear solution, Virgin Media's cable TV.
 
Result:
The idea smashed all targets, and is Virgin's best performing banner, ever.
