This is my personal branding and corporate image design. I'm especially proud of the concept and idea that went into this design because it carries my Family name and it illustrates the symbolic characteristics very well.
"Kgomo" means "cow" in Setswana, the cow traditionally is a symbol of wealth and prosperity as well as power.
My idea was to use the symbolic image of a cow and this eventually ended up with me creating a unique vector silhouette of bull (Pooe) and buffalo (Nare) hybrid posing in a charge stance, like done in old European herald designs of griffins and lions.
To complement the bull image I chose a formal font and gave it a bit of a tweak as well as a dot and line pattern to give it an African tradition feel.
