Cientocuatrogrados is a brand of artisan jams based on local products.

Behind the brand is Carlos Mitchel, a renowned chef and professor at the Seville School of Gastronomy who decided to experiment with new flavors and atypical mixtures to create jams.
We are trying to transmit a feel of experimentation through the graphic language of Cientocuatrogrados. Precisely its name already brings us closer to a working attitude in the laboratory - 104º is the temperature at which the jam gels.

To build the logo we used a grid in which we were fitting linear geometric shapes. That same grid will serve to rank and arrange all the elements on the label under a strict sense of order and classification.
The label uses a color palette that violates the usual norms of this type of product. Colors are not attributed to flavors according to the color of the main ingredient, but instead a more experimental approach is chosen: the classification is made in a more arbitrary way, using colors that complement and make the color of the content of the container stand out, the fruit.
With that color palette and that graphic concept that flees from the traditional achieved endowed product of a special personality, closer to the experiments of contemporary cuisine by masters like Adriá or the Roca brothers. Perhaps a colder approach, but more scientific and creative at the same time.
