The client appointed me to design Australian Day visuals while sticking to DFO Jindalee’s existing visual style and incorporating elements from the Australian flag. Since most of the images supplied by the client had relatively textured backgrounds, I decided to reduce the amount of red and diagonal lines to minimise visual distraction. For the main text, I paired the sans-serif font from the tagline with a brush font to add a bit of personality to the design.
