Trench Butterflies in the Morning Derrière

Toilet paper has an interesting history. Initially it was hard to get people to move away from magazines and corn cobs because it was considered impolite to discuss bathroom matters AT ALL. Advertising this new revolutionary product in stores would be considered obscene so it took a while to take off. It has gone by many names (e.g. loo roll, bog paper, bowel towels) but my personal favorite is "trench butterflies." A "trench butterfly" was a word to describe random bits of toilet paper blowing around the battlefield during WWI. It sounds so majestic. Soooooo... in honor of trench butterflies and the great toilet paper shortage spurred by the COVID19 epidemic, here is a majestic picture of toilet paper in a lovely setting.
