At the An Event Apart conference, there were several sessions I enjoyed. Many sessions challenged my thoughts on responsive web design but nothing inspired me more than Jared Spool's session on "It’s a Great Time To Be a UX Designer". This talk blew my mind.

Afterwards, I asked him what would be the single best thing i could do for my portoflio. He said, "You must tell the story of the project" and with that in mind, I designed the new wordpress theme for my site.
The Hello thing is cliche now a days, but i still think it's a strong first impression.
Using ISOtope is amazing. Since my projets vary from Movie Posters to Websites, I didn't want the height to be an issue and the filtering of projects is a must to have a useful portfolio.
For the films pages, I wanted to emulate the experience I got from Sony Pictures new layout.
I wanted to tell the story of my projects and give many elements to do it. From photo galleries to videos, my portfolio should  multiple sources as diverse as my work.
