Catalyst Bumper
Arizona’s PBS Program collaborated with ASU students to create transitions (bumpers) for their upcoming program, Catalyst. Catalyst demonstrates Arizona State University's scientific research and its potential impact on the world. By combining ASU’s branding with a scientific theme, a fun and science-like bumper was created for Catalyst’s use.
Process:
Storyboards were created to visualize the motion graphic prior to its creation. It was later revised due to the original storyboard not fitting into the bumper's criteria.
Assets:
Icons were created in order to demonstrate the scientific theme for the Catalyst program bumper. They were made with flat, simple shapes in mind since they are to be seen in a span of 1-2 seconds.
