The image was taken as part of a photo essay/ Bike check on the new "Orange 322" downhill bike on a trail at Mt Stromlo, ACT called "Double Dissolution". Double Dissolution is a designated cross country track but with lots of little jumps it is prime for getting wild.
As you can see the rider above, Graeme Mudd, did just that, leaving me with one of my better shots of the year. The image was used in the article I've mentioned above but was also picked up by the riders sponsor 'Lusty Industries' to use in their Von Zipper catalogue. As the sole, mountain bike related image within the catalogue, I think, it puts the rest of the more motocross photos to shame with that one steezy move.
