These two animated digital drawings were made for my advanced drawing class. I started working on these back in late February and originally just set out to make a drawing that had the elements and color of the Pop Art movement while being set in a vintage poster aesthetic. Originally I was going to just make a satirical poster that made fun of the business strategy "sex sells", but near the end of March when COVID-19 started spreading through the United States I decided to shift this project into a new direction. Instead of a vague satire I turned it into a satirical propaganda poster that was aimed at convincing the public that "It's not that bad" while a corporation controls everything behind the scenes.
