Problematic: How to introduce and transform the image and use of local wild flowers to consumers?

Solution: Flordinaire— coming from the french term “les fores ordinaires” meaning ordinary flowers. Flordinaire are cookies that highlight a local wild flower into each batch of cookies. The wild taste is camouflaged by the sweetness of the cookie without masking the visual identity of the flower. These cookies are a unique way to use flowers we consider to be weeds while introducing a local source of plant protein and vitamins that are needed for an everyday diet. Thus, Flordinaire is a sweet treat with an even sweeter ecological and nutritional impact.

The packaging concept focuses on attracting a more deluxe clientele using minimal elements and mimicking the elements of the flower through delicate colors and thin detailing. I wanted to both highlight the flower that went into the recipe and the product itself to inform the consumer as to what they will be consuming/purchasing.
