This campaign was meant to connect Verizon Wireless to the youth market in a way they could relate to.Verizon Wireless was seen as a mobile phone service provider that catered mainly to business professionals, basically an older audience and this pushed the elusive youth market away further. In an effort to create some traction on ground already saturated by companies like Boost Mobile, Metro PCS and Sprint, this campaign communicated to the youth segment in a subversive way, burying offers in text and high impact visuals allowing the viewer to discover the message instead of using the same strategy of laying out photos of the phones and price points next to them the way it was presented in the general market. This campaign became a part of the language that the youth market was already familiar with.
