In Project 2: Letter to word I used a Combination of hand drawn lettering and illustrator to Use letter form for purpose of communicating an attribute of an animal. The point of the exercise was to serve as a general overview of basic type design. This taught me to detect and implement the optical rules that create a successful type face.
