XIII - Death

This piece was a commission recieved this year for a client who wanted me to design one of their dungeons and Dragons Characters and keep with a theme of Tarot Cards, Specifically the Death card.

The client was wanting me to portray the split personality of the character literally with his Hidden, masked form and his physical representation.

Once I was able to find the pose the client was looking for, skecthing out the rough details and finding and keeping to a Color Palette was the next step, and because it's a dark, grim character with the Theme of death, but the character's design featured Bright, Gaudy clothing, I used a dark background with shadows of a muted Purple and blue.
