Microsite design for music streaming site Polyphonic, presenting its latest annual report. 
This concept was created as part of the Digital Project at Shillington College.
THE CHALLENGE
Making Sound Waves is the title for the 2020 Annual Report produced by the music platform Polyphonic. 
Polyphonic is a music streaming and community site, founded in 2015 in Belgium. The company is steadily becoming the go-to resource for new, often underground music. Subscribers of Polyphonic have access to thousands of albums not available on any other streaming platforms. 
Polyphonic would like to design their annual summary in the form of a microsite and share it with their valued subscribers to show case the platform's year-in-music. 
THE STRATEGY
Polyphonic is an eclectic, adventurous and exciting music platform for music lover who are not afraid to expand their music taste into the new and the unknown, always remembering to stay open and have fun along the way. 
Bold, bright, adventurous, exciting are just some of the features of the site and its community that needed to be represented in the design of the microsite.
THE IDEA
Bold, bright and flashy colours were selected. Doodles, swirls, arrows keep the elements of the site together and make the layout flow. 
The new identity of the microsite was also played on a series of posters and event invitations, as well as on clothing merchandise. 
Now Polyphonic has a digital microsite that its subscribers can interact with to discover the platform's year-in-music, as well as recent music articles.
