During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, football was suspended and one of the many consequences of this is that the charity “Fans Supporting Foodbanks” saw the number of food donations fall. Their goal is to collect donations around the grounds on matchdays, with the initiative starting at Anfield and Goodison Park before spreading further afield to other football clubs. They estimate that they raise between £5,000 to £10,000 per matchday, so the suspension of matches created a huge shortfall.
To help generate money for FSF, Liverpool based illustrator Dave Will put together the 2020 edition of MIFA (Missing In Footy Album), and with the help of hundreds of designers and artists, set out to illustrate every sticker in the 2020 Panini Premier League Sticker album.
