Street observation.
(Fujifilm X-E1 with vintage manual lens)
In this project, I photographed various scenes as I explored my town in order to put emphasis on the little things we see everyday without actually looking at. There is a difference between seeing and looking. Observing is a more subjective experience, which involves both visual and thought. It is an artist's role to look at the world and put a little of themselves in it. And while seeing is easy, looking at our world with poetry, inspiration and thought is a more complex process. Pictures from this portfolio are so many views on my life, my art, my thoughts, and ultimately on me.
