This project served as an exploration in the hoodie as a garment and how it has been used over time. Noting the rise of luxury brands appropriating garments with blue collar origins, I decided to make a hoodie that used upcycled Pendleton wool and Tommy Bahama silk clothing to play on the idea of the hoodie's presence in lower and upper class circles.
