Riccio (sea urchin) aims to merge science to design.
A simple cube holds inside shapes created by magnetism.

The project relies on the ferrous sand property, which creates characteristic abstract structures if affected by a magnetic field. 

The appearance and the size of the sand structure changes depending on the magnet’s force of attraction.
This project was presented at the exhibition ’’Equilibrio in forme - La danza del design’’ by Prof. Massimo Ciafrei and Prof. Giordano Bruno.
