"American Dynasties: The Kennedys" - Main Titles pitch. Prologue. (2016)

It was at once a pleasure and a challenge to design, direct and animate another piece for Jellyfish Pictures. Below are frames from the original pitch board.

In the summer of 2017, Jellyfish's Creative Director Tom Brass came with news of a follow-up to Race for the White House. This new CNN six-part documentary series would chronicle the lives of America's most luminous, prominent and ultimately ill-fated political family. 

The client felt that the titles should feel stylistically complementary to the piece I created for White House, while having a character of its own. We wanted to evoke the zeitgeist and socio-political climate for the series, and so - inspired by the striking colours, motifs and bold attitude of influential artists from the era like Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Willem de Kooning - I developed a bright and distinctive art style. The next step was to draw on key moments and movements of the era, as well as family characters and psyches.
