The project entitled “Software Application to Streamline Data Acquisition Process of Wireless Sensors” is sponsored by Sensatek Inc. and is centered around building a software application to store and report wireless sensor data and more generally, improve Sensatek’s data acquisition and management process.

Previously, Sensatek would gather the propulsion sensor data using a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) which would output it as an Excel file. They would manually go through this data to pinpoint peaks in the frequency. Our project helps by streamlining this process which would help save their employees time and energy.

The Main Objectives
- The application is usable on a Microsoft Windows platform for management of wireless sensor data obtained in propulsion systems.
- The application averages all the temperatures for a given frequency and assigns that average to the corresponding frequency so the program can minimize the difference between temperatures for a given frequency.

We have created a simple to use interface that has a login that requires the user to input a username and password. After the correct login credentials are verified the user may then choose an input in the form of an Excel file. The user may then choose how they want the output to be viewed or how they would like the report to be generated. The team unfortunately didn't reach the specific end result that we envisioned but we made it to a checkpoint that we are proud of and can be easily built upon.
