Branding a beacon of change on Toronto’s Waterfront.
The George Brown College Foundation was looking for a branded informational package to use in support of their fundraising efforts for the construction of The Arbour, the college’s new 10 storey
mass-timber building on the Toronto Waterfront.
The Arbour will stand as a beacon of innovation for the future of education and sustainable architecture. We proposed a concept built around the idea of transparency, a value which encourages free and open exchange and paves the way to an authentic, honest atmosphere granting us the chance to move forward together.
The customized brand typeface was chosen for its geometric shape and resemblance to not only the building's architecture but also the stacked timber wood materials used in its construction.
Arbour infographics and display type keywords that remind the donor of their impact on the future are printed on transparent acetate sheets layered on top of full page architect renderings.
