Magis Easy Chair CAD Sculpting Exercise
For the fourth week of 'lock down' in New Zealand, I chose the Easy Chair by Jerszy Seymour as the subject of my CAD sculpting exercise. There are no flat surfaces on this chair, apart from the bottom of the glides... I built the main chair 'tub' as a single span surface (prior to mirroring) and then trimmed the tub back before adding the legs and main blends.
Modelled in Rhino 5, set up/materials in Lightwave, lit using HDR Light Studio Tungsten and rendered with Octane 2019.
