Storytelling Playground

Storytelling Playground
Where wisdom meets curiosity

System for playgrounds making grandparent-grandchild together time more individual, fun and most importantly unique every single time.

4 different types of attractions can be found in this playground dedicated to storytelling and building closer relation between grandparents and their grandchildren. Each of 11 stops will give you a hint on what is coming next in your story while your grandchild will be busy trying to accomplish a given task: climbing up the rock, finding magical fairies living inside the blossoms of flower garden or finding a way out of a labyrinth.

Guidelines
Additional map and a brochure guides first-time users and helps to create breathtaking stories and share wonderful moments with their loved ones.

SHARING ENERGY
Energy level of these two demographics are very different. Therefore this causes issue of children not wanting to spend time with their grandparents as they do everything “slow paced”.
While grandparent has time, grandchild has energy. This is why their balanced meeting point becomes this storytelling playground.

INSPIRATION
To explore an element which is currently not shared with other people and design a context in which that “unsharable” element could be shared.
