What is WHITE
Objective
Choose a theme and document a journey in life through utilizing typography and photography to express the narrative.
Approach
As a graphic designer, it is quite important for me to observe, to explore and get inspired. This book includes my different interpretations of WHITE. I used my camera and cell phone to document each moment related to WHITE and wrote my feelings and thoughts about these moments. I chose a very limited color palette to match
the theme of the book, and created some graphic elements that could better express the meaning of the stories.
“WHITE” exists in our own perspective and mind; Therefore, you can not give it a certain
definition by searching the meaning of white or using others’ interpretations. We need to
feel the “white” by ourselves which will be different from the “white” we normally experience.
