Seocho-gu construction site temporary enclosures/ Graphic design / 2019
“Four Seasons” portrays citizens of Seocho-gu using Seripul installations in their daily lives. From the left to the right, spring to winter, distinct features of each season and color palettes were used to distinguish different seasons. It used a linear composition method to express the pass of time in one frame. This method also portrays Seocho-gu is always with its citizens and there for them even though the time passes, a story of Seoripul.
‘사계’는 미세먼지, 더위, 추위를 이겨낼 수 있도록 구민들의 삶에 자리잡은 생활밀착형 공감 행정 아이템 ‘서리풀’ 시리즈를 통해 서초구의 모습을 사계절이 변하는 동안 변함없이 구민과 함께하는 서리풀의 이야기로 풀어냈으며, 각 계절의 특징을 담은 색상과 요소들을 한 줄로 나열해놓은 디자인을 하여 사계절이 하나의 자연스러운 일상처럼 느껴지도록 연출하였습니다.
Since 2018, Seocho-gu implemented urban design and art projects as a part of a new policy; “Let’s be the city of culture and art.” Filling empty walls of construction site temporary enclosures with arts was part of the project.
서초구는 2018년부터 대한민국을 대표하는 문화 예술 중심 도시로서의 도약을 위한 정책의 일환으로 삭막했던 공사장 가설 울타리를 도심 속 캔버스로 활용할 수 있는 디자인 프로젝트를 실시했습니다.
Installation guidelines
Lap the graphic on the enclosures through adhesive sheet construction.
