Charn Chai Fighter

        CHARN CHAI FIGHTER

Mongkoldej Sitthepitak is a former Muay Thai fighter who began training muay thai aged ten under the guidance of his grandfather ‘Charnchai’ who was also a former Muay Thai champion and a great inspiration to Bee and his brother Ae. Bee’s brother Ae moved to Bangkok at a young age to be trained by their father. By the age of 12 Bee had won the championships in his home province and the surrounding provinces and so he moved to the Capital like his brother, to train and fight out of Sitthepitak Gym.

Bee’s professional fighting career began to take off when he was 17 years old and by the age of 21 he reached the top ten of best Thai boxers in Thailand, which made Bee famous. Bee retired from fighting at the age of 27 after more than 300 matches.

He began training the young Thai boys at Sor. Sunton gyms while he was still a full time fighter. Bee received no money for training and slept in the ring with 9 young Thai boys for several years. He would wake them all at 5am and run with them hitting them with a stick if they slowed down. In 2006 Bee opened his first muay thai camp in Pai named ‘True Bee Gym’.

True Bee Gym was open for over 4 years and welcomed students from all over the world, many of whom have now returned to train with Bee and his team again at Charnchai Muay Thai camp. Bee continues to work hard to build upon his reputation for training excellence. Muay thai has been Bee’s life from a young age and he is truly passionate about teaching those who are interested to learn his sport.
