MULTIMEDIA ICONIC POSTER
The purpose of this project was to explore visual identity by designing a minimalist iconic and a memorable image that is centered on the word Multimedia in the form of a poster. An iconic poster should be recognizable, and easy to describe.
The poster has three iconic signs, the book, TV set and the RGB color model. When designing the poster I looked carefully at what Multimedia is for one as students. We learn Multimedia for us to gain knowledge and different skills required to produce effective media products.
Two of the main ideas that stemmed out from this idea was learning and the word media, that is why the book (education) is projecting the TV set (media). In terms of color, I used RGB colors, which are common and always spring to mind when using CSS software such as photo editing programs like Photoshop and the RGB color model is also iconic itself.
