WinshipPhillips Advertising's profile

DAVID DIKE FINE ART: TEXAS ART AUCTION

Established in 1986, David Dike Fine Art specializes in late 19th and early 20th Century European and American oil paintings, with an emphasis on the Texas Regionalists and Texas landscape painters. Thirty years ago, early Texas art was a relatively new area of collecting. The David Dike gallery has been instrumental in increased awareness and competitive collecting of early Texas art, largely through their early Texas Art auctions starting in 1996.

In 2013 DDFA looked to WinshipPhillips for a rebranding of all marketing efforts surrounding the annual auction. Beginning with a new message, our agency made sure all communications had a consistent tone and look. Advertising, direct mail, email marketing, web graphics and a redesigned catalogue with larger images and easy-to-follow lot information, completed the new branding across all platforms.

WinshipPhillips also carried the tone one step further by implementing a newly designed mailing envelope. With three large open panels, the gallery was able to showcase premium works of art available in the auction. The catalogue not only arrived well-protected, it beckoned to be opened upon arrival.
