Mapping St. Pölten, 2019
The aim of this project was to collect and compare Data from the streets of St. Pölten, Austria. The result would be a visualization of the given information density.

Starting the project, every student was randomly assigned to 400m of at least one street. Next, one has to take photos of all types of typography and iconography (yes, all of them). Then, all was put into writing within a table in Numbers. Also, categories like type of street sign, side of the street, or stretch of road were added.

The end products would be one fanfold and a booklet in the same format (16cm x 24cm). Each page would equate to 20m of the street. The current stretch of the road and cardinal directions are marked on the edges of the pages. White space was left in the middle of all pages to symbolize the street. Depending on where the data was found, typography was either set on the top or bottom half of the page.

Lastly, all Data was analyzed and compared to die other streets.
