This is a poster ad I made for one of my favorite restaurants, The Duce that brings the old to the new with their 60s Dutchess antiques. This poster highlights the Duce’s appreciation for ordinary antiques, and their love for nature. I decided to use the best representation of the 60s by making a television set. If you ever visit the Duce in Phoenix, AZ the first thing you will see is a citrus tree. I wanted to highlight that aspect by putting a tree on top to display the amount of plants they incorporate into the restaurant. They have accents of “funk” to their setting with old record players, funky signery and my favorite, disco balls, so instead of the citrus fruit I made disco balls out of tinfoil.
Below are my thumbnails during the process.
